Port Wentworth apartments, clad in standing seam metal
For a multifamily building, a roof is a thirty-year decision. The owner wanted standing seam metal across the whole complex, the system that costs more once and never asks for a callback.
We ran concealed-fastener panels over a full underlayment, detailing the valleys and penetrations as we went. On a building this size, the rhythm is everything: stage the panels, set the clips, lock the seams, move down the run.
The grey metal sheds water fast and holds its finish against the salt air coming off the river. The owner gets decades; the tenants never think about it. That's the job.
