An estate under the live oaks, re-roofed to disappear

A waterfront estate set deep in the live oaks, re-shingled in a color chosen to settle into the canopy rather than stand out from it. The architectural shingle installation included the full system underneath: underlayment, valley protection, and reworked flashing at every wall and chimney.

From the water, the roof reads as though it had always been there, which, for a house like this one, is exactly the point.
